Peas come in multiple colors and various sizes. They are all beautiful and delicious!
This Pea is speckled blue green, though there are some lovely purple Peas mixed in as well. They are very round. They also grow wonderful Pea Shoots!

Speckled Pea Benefits
Pea microgreens nutrition has significant amounts of vitamin C (66.7%), reasonable amounts of vitamins B1 thiamin (12.5%), and B5 pantothenic acid (15.0%). They are particularly rich in vitamin B9 folate (10.5%), a nutrient essential for DNA synthesis and cell division. They are rich in the minerals iron (11.6%) and manganese (10.6%), and choline (10.5%) essential in many body processes and supporting heart health, boosting the immune system, and aiding detoxification.
If you’re looking for a healthy and delicious way to boost your nutrient intake, pea microgreens are great. They’re a great source of vitamins C, K, folate, and potassium, packed with antioxidants. Nutty, crunchy, fresh and delicious!
Days to Grow: 8 to 10
Soak Time: 4-8 hours
Yield: 1/2 cup of dry seed yields 4-5 cups pea shoots or 2 tbsp to fill a 1 liter mason jar
Storage: To prolong viability, it is best to store them in the fridge. If you store your seeds in the freezer, they’ll last indefinitely!
Sprouting Speckled Peas in a Mason Jar:
- In a clean mason jar with a straining lid, soak 30 grams of Brilliant Blend seeds in 3" of fresh, lukewarm water at room temperature for 4-8 hours. Drain well.
- 2 times a day, refill the jar with fresh cool water, swirl, and drain on a 45 degree angle in a bowl or dish rack, making sure the jar isn't sitting in water.
- Enjoy! Ready to eat in 8-10 days (or to your taste)
- Leave them to grow for another 1/2 day after the final rinse so they absorb most of the water and pat dry on a paper towel.
- Store dry in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days.
*NOTE* You can also sprout these seeds in a tray using trays and soil.
